Precision Rifle 2
This course provides the student with the knowledge and skill necessary to zero and employ a precision rifle to achieve first round impact at 100 yards out to 1,000 yards and beyond. You will be guided and encouraged to develop efficient techniques and effective habits. The range used for this class presents the opportunity to engage targets from 100 to 1,000 yards if your rifle is ballistically capable.
Zero, scope adjustment, simple shot process, critical shooting fundamentals, use of support (bipod, tripod, shooting bags, and barricades), effects of wind (reading it and accounting for it) will be covered in depth. Data On Pervious Engagement (D.O.P.E.) will be documented.
Prerequisites:
To succeed in this course a prospective client will need a truly sorted system. Their rifle, optic, and ammunition has to be properly set up and zeroed to have any hope of keeping up in class.
In light of this, we require successful completion of our Precision 1 course or equivalent training/experience as judged by our instructors.
The instructors will not spend time attempting to remediate unvetted equipment in this course.
